Nintendo Switch Online: For most N64 games you have to make your English

This month, the offer of Nintendo Switch online is expanded by selected N64 games and Sega classics. However, the package is offered in a paid subscription, to which Nintendo has still not revealed a prize. But Nintendo now revealed a detail of the N64 games that should not enjoy all interested parties.

Where is the problem? While all the titles can be played in English, but not in German. The original PAL version, which included different language outputs in addition to the English, will only exist for some selected titles. Unfortunately, Nintendo did not reveal which games will be.

What is the difference? In addition to the language option, the PAL version could only be played with 50 Hz. In Japan and America, however, the NTSC version with 60 Hz, which now comes with the extended switch online offer. Both versions were adapted for the consoles and televisions that existed in the respective regions. Thus, for example, N64 cartridges from Europe were not compatible with consoles from Japan.

Some users complain in the comments that the German version is not offered for all games. Although most commenters can understand the English language, but the titles would prefer to gamble in their native language.
